Complete Game Notes (.PDF)GAME OVERVIEW• Millersville blasted Cheyney 72-53 on Wednesday for its third consecutive win and fifth in the last six games. The win pulled Millersville into a tie for third place in the PSAC East. Of Millersville's final six games, four are in the friendly confines of Pucillo Gymnasium where it is 8-2 this season. The Marauders have won 15 of 18 home games against Lock Haven since 1983. Since Nov. 29, the Marauders are 12-4.
• Millersville continues to own the PSAC's No. 1 ranking in scoring defense and field goal percentage defense. The Marauders also rank fourth in steals per game.
Celeste Robinson recorded six steals against Cheyney, and the Marauders have double-digit steals in eight games. Robinson now ranks seventh in the PSAC in steals per game at 1.9.
Tyisha White's 1.6 isn't far behind and she ranks 18th. White's 32 steals are 11 more than she had in any previous season and only six shy of her previous three-season total. Robinson's best steal total came in her freshman season over 2012-13 when she totaled 62. She has 150 steals in her career, averaging 2.1 per game. Her 150th steal put her past current Lock Haven coach Jen Smith for 20th all-time at Millersville. Her current per game average is eighth-best all-time.
• Millersville's opponents have been held under 40 percent shooting 13 times, and Cheyney was held without a 3-pointer (0-for-10). That was the first time Millersville kept a team from making a three since 2014. Millersville is now 13-3 when shooting a higher field goal percentage than its opponent and 11-1 when scoring at least 60 points. Millersville is also 12-0 when leading at halftime.
• The Marauders are especially good at home, allowing just 57.9 points. and 35.9 percent shooting from the field while making 43.7 percent of their shots at the other end. Millersville has also forced 193 turnovers--an average of 19.3 per game--and allowed just 93 assists in Pucillo Gymnasium--9.3 per game. Opponents are also shooting just 24.1 percent from three at Pucillo.
• Millersville's free throw shooting has drastically improved over the last five games. The Marauders failed to connect on 65 percent of their free throws in 10 of the first 15 games. But over the last five, the Marauders have shot 72.7 percent as a team, hitting 93-of-128 free throws. The 25.6 free throw attempts per game over that stretch is also well more than the 16.8 attempts per game averaged in the 15 previous games. In the last five,

Alex Stam has made 9-of-10 and
Celeste Robinson has made 14-of-17. While making only five foul shots in five games,
Shelby Reimer has made 15 in a row--a streak that stretches back to Dec. 16. Reimer has made 22 of her last 23 free throw attempts.
• Lock Haven won 19 of the first 21 meetings but since 1979, Millersville is 32-10. Millersville holds a 22-4 edge since 1996. Lock Haven won swept Millersville for its first back-to-back wins in the series since 1978-79.

COUTING THE OPPONENT• Lock Haven is coached by 2002 Millersville grad Jennifer Smith. Smith was named to Millersville's All-75th Season Team following a career in which she finished eighth all-time in 3-pointers made and 16th in career assists.
• Lock Haven enters with back-to-back wins and has recently taken PSAC East-leading West Chester and Shippensburg to overtime. Lock Haven is the top rebounding team in the PSAC, grabbing a league-best 43.5 per game and owning a plus-7.5 margin. Lysa Mealing is the top individual rebounder at 13.2 per game.
• Lock Haven scores 62.5 points per game but allows 63.2. Rachael McDaniel and Mackenzie Livingstone average double-figures and four Bald Eagles average at least 9.7 points per game. No player averages more than 10.8. Lock Haven has outscored teams in the second and fourth quarters and is only minus-seven in third quarter scoring but has been outscored 299-239 in first quarters this season.
