Men's Tennis Downed By Tusculum

Hilton Head, S.C. - Monday at the Hilton Head Tennis Courts the men's tennis team was unable to take any sets against Tusculum, and was subsequently blanked by a 9-0 score.
Seniors Kevin Tran and Jody Sambrick Jr. performed admirably for the Marauders. Tran came the closest to snagging a set for the Marauders in a ultra-competitive match with Nicolas Planchard, but still fell by scores of 6-3, 6-4. Sambrick also fell in straight sets but put up a hard fight before being downed 6-1, 6-3.
In doubles play, Sambrick and Tran teamed up but fell to the pairing of Lukas Winkelmann and Jonas Winkelmann by a final of 8-4.
The loss drops the Marauders to 0-3 on the season, while Tusculum improved to 6-0. Millersville's next match is slated for Tuesday, March 10. The Black & Gold will look to score its first team victory against Baldwin Wallace with play set to begin at 8 a.m.
