GAME OVERVIEW
• The Millersville women's basketball team is fighting for its playoff lives right now. The Marauders have lost seven straight and fallen into a tie for fifth place with Lock Haven who is just a half game back of the sixth place position for the Eastern Division. The top six teams from eaach division will play in the PSAC Tournament beginning on Feb. 28. Millersville has six games remaining in its regular season schedule including three at home and three on the road. It will most likely come down to Kutztown, Millersville and Lock Haven fighting for that sixth-place position.

• Millersville's 35 points on Saturday marked the first time it has scored under 40 since Dec. 18, 2008 at Florida Southern. 35 points is the lowest point total under Fleig. The last time Millersville scored 35 was Jan. 6, 1990 at Cal Poly Pomona. 35 points were the lowest since the 1982 season when Millersville lost to Cheyney. That season, Cheyney made history when it was coached by C. Vivian Stringer. The Wolves played in the inaugural NCAA Division I Championship and finished as the runner-up despite being a Division II school.

• February has historically been the Marauders' best month. Dating back to 1984, Millersville's .728 winning percentage is its best of any month. Fleig is 143-48 in February and that equates to a winning percentage of .748. Since the beginning of the 1999-00 season, the Marauders have had more than three losses in the month of February only three times. In five of those seasons since 1999-00, Millersville was unblemished in the month of February.

• To say that Millersville has dominated the all-time series with Mansfield would be an understatement. The Marauders lead it 62-3, have won 16 straight between the two teams and head coach Mary Fleig currently owns a 48-2 record against the Mounties. During that 16-game stretch, the Black and Gold have won by an average of over 22 points per game and have held Mansfield to less than 50 points 10 times. All three of Mansfield's wins in the all-time series have come in Mansfield and were decided by a combined 14 points.

• Mary Fleig shook up the lineup quite a bit for Millersville's Saturday game against East Stroudsburg. Shelby Reimer didn't play for the first time all season and Alex Stam only played 12 minutes, her least since the second game of the season against Chowan when she saw 11 minutes of action. Freshmen Alayah Hall (made first career start) and Alexis Yanief played a combined 56 minutes when they had combined to play an average of 17 mintes per contest entering Saturday's game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Mansfield snapped a 17-game skid on Saturday with a 59-53 victory over Cheyney in the Wovles' Cope Hall. The Mountaineers were led by a 20-point performance from Katie Fitzpatrick as well as 16 points by both Brielle Kelly and Tianna Jackson. Fitzpatrick is the team's leading scorer and only player averaging double figures at 13.3 points per game. She is also the team's leading rebounder with six boards per contest. The Drexel Hill, Pa., native has scored at least 10 points in six of the last seven games including three games with at least 20 points and during that span, she is averaging 17.4 points and seven rebounds per game. On the season, she has broken the 10-point barrier 15 times and the 20-point mark on four occasions.
