
Allen wins PSAC Athlete of the Week

Lock Haven, Pa. - Sprinter Kiara Allen has already brough home an award after she opened her 2015-16 indoor track and field season with a NCAA provisional time in the 60-meter dash at the Lehigh Fast Times meet. She was named PSAC Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
The redshirt senior posted a time of 7.73 in the prelims and then ran a 7.83 in the finals to place third. Allen was the only Division II athlete in the finals. Allen was an All-American in the 60-meter dash at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships and also qualified for the outdoor nationals in the 100-meter dash.
Allen and the Marauders face a long break. The next event is Jan. 23 at Princeton.
