PSAC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
• Millersville is in the PSAC for a program-record fourth consecutive season. The Marauders have also played in three consective PSAC Championship games, winning the 2013 contest over Shippensburg. Millersville is looking for its fourth PSAC Championship. It won back-to-back titles in 1984 and 1985 prior to the 2013 title. It is the 11th overall appearance in the tournament for Millersville. Millersville has won at least one tournament game in six of the berths.

ABOUT THE SERIES
• Bloomsburg was the bully of the PSAC and Division II for years, going 32-0-2 against Millersville from 1990-2012. From 1994-2012, Bloomsburg won 28 consecutive games. Millersville ended that streak in 2012 and has since won six consecutive games over the Huskies--the longest streak in program history. Five of Millersville's last six wins have come by shutout and four of the last seven games have gone into overtime. The match-ups have been closely contested as five of the last seven have been decided by one goal.
• Millersville and Bloomsburg have met in the PSAC Tournament five times with Millersville winning three times. The last postseason match-up came in 2012 in the PSAC Quarterfinal. That game was Millersville's first PSAC Tournament berth in 19 years and it won by a 2-0 score behind goals from Brittany Troutman and Katelyn Zapp.

THE LAST MEETING (MILLERSVILLE 1, BLOOMSBURG 0 - OCT. 17, 2015)
• Millersville blanked Bloomsburg in penalty corners, shots and in the scoring column. The Marauders rode Olivia Hershey's second half goal to a 1-0 victory. Millersville totaled 15 shots, 12 shots on goal and 13 penalty corners while the Huskies were held to zero in every offensive statistical category. Samantha Rumler picked up her eighth shutout despite not needing to make a save. It was the Marauders' 10th shutout in the last 11 games and the seventh time this season they have held a team without a shot on goal. The Marauders found the breakthough goal on their first shot of the second half. Just 3:53 into the period, Margaret Thorwart found Hershey, who blasted a shot past Lindsay Cassel for her fifth score of the season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• It is rare that Bloomsburg is the upstart team. After winning 18 PSAC Championships from 1983-2011, Bloomsburg is the No. 6 seed in the 2015 tournament and upset No. 3 seed Shippensburg by a 3-2 score in double overtime on Tuesday. The Huskies missed the 2014 tournament but had appeared in every conference tournament from 1980-2013. Bloomsburg's last championship came in 2011. It also reached the semifinals in 2013.
• The Huskies went 5-5 in PSAC play and 5-7 at home. Opponents hold a 157-149 edge in shots and a 178-140 edge in penalty corners. Bloomsburg has outscored its opponents 33-26, ranking eighth in the 11-team PSAC in goals scored and fifth in goals against average (1.37).
• Goalkeeper Lindsay Cassel has made the second-most saves in the PSAC (131) and has withstood the pressure, posting an .834 save percentage, which ranks her second in the PSAC behind only Millersville's Samantha Rumler. Cassel's 6.89 saves per game ranks third.
• The Bloomsburg offense is led by Sam Peters' seven goals and two assists. She scored a goal and an assist in the PSAC Quarterfinal win over Shippensburg.

MARAUDERS IN DEPTH
• Millersville is the best in Division II at drawing penalty corners, totaling 289 compared to its opponents' 63. Millersville, however, ranks 14th in scoring, averaging 2.28 goals per game. Millersville also holds a significant 321-54 advantage in shots and a 202-21 advantage in shots on goal.
• Millersville is on pace to lead the nation in defense for a fourth consecutive season. It owns a 0.39 goals against average and 12 shutouts--two shy of the program record set last season. No other team in the country has more than eight shutouts. Goalkeeper Samantha Rumler ranks first in the nation in goals against average (.16) and save percentage (.857), letting in just two goals in 13 games. Millersville's individual goals against average record was set at 0.53 by Doreen Frascino in 1985. Millersville is also set to break the program record for fewest goals allowed in a season. The 1980 club allowed 10 in 15 games, going 9-1-5. This year's team has surrendered seven in 18 games.
• Freshman Aliza Mizak is the top freshman goal scorer in Marauder history and currently ranks third among all freshmen in Division II in goals with 10. Overall, she ranks 17th.
• Millersville has shared its offensive work load with 13 different players having scored at least one goal.
