Millersville, Pa. - Millersville enters today's duals against Penn State Mont Alto (5:30 p.m.) and Seton Hill (7 p.m.) after placing second out of 15 teams in the Washington & Jefferson Open on Saturday.
The Marauders had eight total wrestlers place in Austin Cammacci,
Connor Sheehan,
Alex Baider,
Nick Haegele,
D.J. Mele, Aram Moffit,
Kyle Narber and
David Wuestner.
Alex Baider finished fifth at 133,
Kyle Narber finished fourth at 184, while Mele finished sixth at the 157 weight division. Camacci finished third in the 125 weight class while Sheehan placed fifth. Moffit placed second in the 197-pound divsion and Wuestner finished third in the heavyweight division.
Millersville will first wrestle Penn State Mont Alto who has started off strong in 2015. In its opening match, Mont Alto won 3-1 in the Fall Classic Duals. In their second contest, Mont Alto swept the field going 5-0 in the Virginia Beach Open & National Duals totaling 176.5 points.
Following their first dual, the Marauders will wrestle Seton Hill which enters Thursday after having success at the Clarion Open and Mount Union Invitational. Ty Lydic and Jacob Temple placed second in 149 and 197 respectively in the Mount Union Invitational for the Griffins.
