
Marauders finish 10th at Gettysburg Invitational

Gettysburg, Pa. - The Millersville women's cross country team landed in 10th place on Saturday at the Gettysburg Invitational. A total of 29 teams competed in the 6K race. Newcomer Natalie Crum continued to lead the Marauders as she has in each race so far this season finishing in 37th place out of 280 runners with a time of 24:04.02.
Veteran runner Shannon Cruz returned to the scene on Saturday after an injury prevented her from competing so far this season. Cruz completed the 6K in 73rd place at 24:53.1. Abigail Daley, who returned from inury at the University of Delaware Invitational, completed the race in 24:19.2 locking in 43rd place. Samantha Martin also finished in the top 100. Martin clocked a new personal best with a time of 25:15.2 in 85th.
Millersville cross country's next event is at the PSAC Championship at 11 a.m. in Slippery Rock, Pa.
