
Cruz Leads Marauders at PSAC Championship

Slippery Rock, Pa. - Shannon Cruz made her second appearance of the season at Saturday's PSAC Cross Country Championship and paced the Millersville Marauders with an 81st-place finish. Millersville finished in 16th-place out of 17 teams.
Cruz, still working her way back from an offseason injury, posted a time of 25:13.20. Trailing not far behind was Abigail Daley and Natalie Crum who completed the race in 83rd and 84th places, just second behind Cruz. Courtney Kearns finished in 107th place followed by 110th-place Taylour Mauro and 111th-place Samantha Martin. Natalie Thomas finished crossed the finish line at 27:32.20 in 112th place.
The first place team was last year's winner, Edinboro, followed by East Stroudsburg.
