GAME OVERVIEW
• Most recently, the Millersville women's basketball team lost on the road to No. 22 Bloomsburg by a score of 69-47. Team-wise, Millersville held the rebounding advantage 42-35 including 17-10 on the offensive glass but was outscored 28-20 in the paint. Alexis Martin was the lone Marauder in double figures with 10 points to go with eight rebounds, three blocks, two steals, and one assist. The Huskies were led by 22 points from Marla Simmons who had a double double with 10 rebounds and Bloomsburg turned in 16 assists on 22 of its field goal makes.

• The current five-game skid is Millersville's first since December of 1995. The longest losing streak of head coach Mary Fleig's career was seven games in January of 1995. This is Fleig's fourth losing streak of five games or longer in 25 seasons at Millersville and her first three came during her first five seasons for Millersville including a six-game losing streak to begin Fleig's tenure in 1990-91. Millersville closed that season by winning 11 of 19 games.

• Senior Sabina Mehmedovic has begun to heat up over the past three games with an average of 8.3 points per contest during that span. During that stretch, she is 5-of-12 from the field and 16-for-22 at the free throw line. Also, despite not scoring for the first time since Dec. 17 against Edinboro in the last game, Alex Stam has made at least one 3-pointer in 12 of the last 15 games.

• West Chester's Porshcha Speller made her collegiate debut against the Marauders in the teams' last meeting on Nov. 19 and didn't disappoint. She set career highs in points and assists with 17 and four, respectively. The Lancaster Catholic product was just named PSAC East Freshman of the Week for a second time this season after she averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game this past week in wins over Cheyney and Mansfield. Those were the first consecutive double figure scoring games of her career.

• Junior Dallas Ely will obviously be the player to watch when these two teams square off. In her five career games against the Marauders, the Montrose, Pa., native has averaged 14.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. In those five contests, she has shot over 44 percent (27-of-61) from the floor, over 39 percent (9-for-23) from behind the arc and has only turned the ball over 2.2 times per game. She also registered the best scoring game of her career last season during the Dec. 4 matchup when she had a personal-best 29 points to go with 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and only three giveaways.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• West Chester has won four straight and five of its last six games. Statistically, the Golden Rams are led by Brittany Sicinski who averages a team-leading 14.8 points per game, has scored in double figures 15 times this season and has reached the 20-point mark in five of those contests. The 2013-14 All-PSAC First Team honoree has been part of the best scoring duo not only in the PSAC but in the country with Dallas Ely. Ely, who was a WBCA Division II honorable mention All-American last season as well Daktronics All-Atlantic Region First Team recipient, is second on the team in scoring with 14.3 points per game.
