GAME OVERVIEW
• Fifth-year senior and 1,000-point scorer Carly Gallagher only played nine minutes in the second half of a 72-74 loss at Pitt-Johnstown and missed the entire game against Cheyney in which Millersville lost 63-70. Gallagher had torn her achilles and was lost for the season puting and end to an illustrious career as a Marauder. Prior to this two-game skid, Millersville had won seven of eight, was 7-0 at home and was looking at a 10-4 overall record including a 7-2 mark in PSAC play. Now, the Marauders sit in third place in the East with two of their next three games on the road where they have only gone 3-5 so far this season.

• Millersville leads the all-time series 34-27 but has owned Lock Haven as of late taking nine straight meetings between the two teams. Bald Eagle head coach Jennifer Smith has never beaten her former head coach in Mary Fleig (0-8). Smith played for the Marauders from 1998-2002 and was a four-year varsity letter winner. At Millersville, she broke school records for most games played in a career and most 3-pointers made in a game. Smith earned the 2002 Elwood J. Finley award as top senior female student-athlete and served as team captain in 2002 while earning team MVP and offensive MVP awards.

• As noted in Lock Haven's section, the Bald Eagles have relied on a pair of seniors in Marrysa Moyer and Sami Lane. Moyer has scored in double figures eight times so far this season and Lane has done so on nine different occasions. In these two teams' last meeting, both of them combined to score 29 points on 12-of-27 shooting from the floor.

• The Marauders will look to hold Lock Haven below 60 points. When Millersville does that against its opponent this season, its record is 8-0. However, when the opposition scores 60 points or more, the Marauders are just 2-6. The Bald Eagles are 2-3 this season in games that they score fewer than 60 points. Millersville has been able to hold eight opponents below 60 points because of a defense that is first in the PSAC in field goal percentage defense (35.7 percent) and third in scoring defense (60.3 points per game).

• If this game comes down to free throws, it could get interesting for the Marauders who are last in the league in free throw percentage at .563 percent. This is one of the few categories in which Lock Haven has handled itself pretty well as the Bald Eagles are eighth in the PSAC in this category with a clip of .704 percent. Moyer is first on the team in that category with a percentage of .691 at the charity stripe. With that being said, Millersville can capitalize in the rebounding department where it has a margin of +5.8 to just +0.1 from Lock Haven. The Bald Eagles are ninth in the conference in rebounds per game though at 39.1.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• So far, Lock Haven hasn't had the season it would have hoped for with a 4-10 overall record including 3-7 in the conference and the Bald Eagles find themselves second-to-last in the Eastern Division, just ahead of Mansfield. Lock Haven has dropped two straight contests and three of its last four. Statistically, the Bald Eagles continue to be led by senior forward, Marrysa Moyer. Moyer is averaging a double double on the season with 10.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Those 10.4 boards per contest are good for third in the PSAC and Moyer is one of only three players in the conference averaging at least 10 rebounds per game. Sami Lane is the team's leading scorer at 10.8 points per game and scored a season-high 20 points in 33 minutes of action on Nov. 19 at home against East Stroudsburg.
