Kutztown, Pa. - Shannon Cruz achieved the highest 6K finish of her career by taking second place at the Division II/III Challenge Saturday afternoon with a time of 22:48. As a team, the Marauders placed seventh out of seven squads.
Abigail Daley was the next to cross the finish line for Millersville in 35th and was clocked at 25:27 before Taylour Mauro finished in 39th at 25:50. Amanda Long was the fourth to finish for the Marauders in 42nd (26:21) and Emily Leighow rounded out the scoring in 44th (26:28).
Millersville will next run at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational on Sept. 20 in Newville, Pa.
