What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus would have to be the batting cages because I can release some stress from academics and just focus on making my swing better.
Who is your favorite professor/class?
My favorite professor on campus thus far would have to be Carrie Smith. I took a class called Sociology in the Family. This class was discussion-based, we could speak our opinions and the professor related to college level students a lot.
Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because my grandfather inspired me to become a police officer. He talked frequently about running radar to catching criminals on pursuits and this has intrigued me since my freshman year of high school.
Why did you choose Millersville?
I chose Millersville University because I wanted a chance at becoming drafted and competing for a championship. It also provided top academics to receive my degree if baseball didn't work out.
What is a day in the life of a student-athlete?
A day of a student-athlete can be quite frustrating if you don't have good time management. After I wake up, I eat breakfast, attend class, eat lunch, go to a three-hour practice, eat dinner, and then go to study hall hours and study for exams and do homework for class. It is also very important to get at least eight hours of sleep so this daily process doesn't catch up with you and you are able to perform at 100%.
How has playing sports at Millersville changed you as an individual?
Playing sports at Millersville really helped me mature as an individual. Being away from your family and living on your own, you don't have anyone to tell you what to do so you really mature quickly and find out ways to help you in the near future when you're looking for a job.
What has been the most rewarding community service project?
The most rewarding community service project I have been a part of was my freshman year when we visited the Veterans Hospital in Lebanon. This really showed me what veterans really did for our country and this also showed me I shouldn't take playing baseball for granted and enjoy it while it lasts.
What is your favorite sports team?
Baltimore Orioles
Who is your favorite professional athlete?
Nick Markakis (Baltimore Orioles) because he is very similar to me and when I am watching MLB games, I look for someone similar to me. Also, he plays a lot like me too by hitting the ball the other way and can hit homeruns when he gets the right pitch.
What is your favorite sports memory?
My favorite sports memory was playing my senior year of football in high school and beating our rival Greencastle in the first round of playoffs. I also scored the winning touchdown to give us the lead and led the state in interceptions as a senior too.
Who do you most admire?
I most admire my father because he supports our family and really shows me my best piece of advice that hard work does really pay off.
What is the greatest risk you've ever taken?
My greatest risk would be walking on the streets at night in Baltimore after an Orioles game and seeing two shootings happen right in front of me.
Where will you be in 10 years?
In 10 years, I would like to be playing in the minor leagues and advancing through the system, but if my dream doesn't occur than I would become a police officer, get married, buy a house, and start a family with my wife.
What is the most significant challenge you've overcome?
My biggest challenge that I am overcoming is my knee surgery for my ACL. I plan on coming back 100% and becoming the player I was my freshman year.
Best piece of advice you've received?
Hard work pays off!
What is your favorite place you've visited/vacationed?
Virgin Islands in the Caribbean
The one thing you cannot live without?

Lone Survivor
Who is your favorite band/artist and have you seen them live?
Florida Georgia Line and no I haven't.
