GAME OVERVIEW
• The Millersville women's basketball team hasn't played since Dec. 6 when it defeated Kutztown 71-58 on the road thanks in part to 25 points from Carly Gallagher as well as 14 points and a remarkable 20 rebounds from Yasmin Cooper. That mark ties the most rebounds in a game for a Marauder since Kristy Garner tallied 20 on Feb. 15, 2003 against West Chester. Garner also had 21 in the same season against Cheyney. The Marauders outscored their hosts 19-10 in points off turnovers, 17-9 in second chance points and 40-30 in points in the paint while outrebounding Kutztown 48-38 including 15-8 on the offensive glass.

• Gallagher has scored in double figures each of the eight games this season, has led the team in points six of those eight contests and has eclipsed 20 points twice this season. The East Stroudsburg native now finds herself 15 points shy of joining the 1,000-point club and would become the 20th scorer to do so in program history. Scoring-wise, the fifth-year senior is having the best season of her career with 18 points per game thus far.

• When looking at the all-time series against these two teams, there hasn't been that many meetings in comparison to Millersville's other league opponents. The Marauders lead the all-time series with Slippery Rock 14-9 and have taken the last six straight while the series with Edinboro is tied up at nine wins apiece and the Fighting Scots have won the last four meetings between the two teams.

• The Rock are doing it on both ends of the court. They are eighth in the PSAC in scoring offense at 69.9 points per game and second in scoring defense at 55.1 points allowed per game. They are also fourth in the conference in scoring margin at +14.7. Meanwhile, Edinboro is eighth in the league in both field goal percentage (42.4 percent) and field goal percentage defense (39.2). The one thing the Fighting Scots have really excelled in is 3-point shooting. Edinboro is first in the PSAC in 3-point percentage (39.8)and sixth in 3-pointers made per game (6.4).

• Slippery Rock's Chambers has 18 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and two steals in Pucillo last season. She played in 38 minutes and was 6-of-16 from the field including 2-for-3 from behind the arc and 4-of-5 at the free throw line. Majewski turned in 23 points against the Marauders last season to go with four rebounds, three steals and one assist. She was 7-of-11 from the floor including 4-for-6 from 3-point land.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Slippery Rock enters Tuesday on a four-game winning streak after opening its 2014-15 campaign with a 1-2 mark. In three of the four wins during that span, The Rock have beaten their opponent by at least 25 points. Bob McGraw, a former assistant men's basketball coach at La Roche College and volunteer assistant with the Slippery Rock men's basketball team, was named as assistant coach of The Rock's women's basketball team Oct. 22, 2013. In May of this year, McGraw was promoted to acting head coach of the women's program for the 2014-15 season, replacing Tanya Longo. Statistically, Slippery Rock is led by three scorers averaging double figures including D'Asia Chambers (16.4), Taylor Siggers (10.0) and Erica Aiello (10.0). Chambers is averaging a double double as she is also posting 11.6 rebounds per game. Her 16.4 points per contest are seventh in the PSAC while the 11.6 boards per game are second in the conference.

• Edinboro was ranked No. 6 in Division II to open the season before dropping to No. 11 in the season's second poll on Nov. 25 and the Fighting Scots have since dropped completely out of the poll. After going 3-0 to open the season, Edinboro dropped three straight to PSAC opponents including California (48-76), Bloomsburg (49-59) and Slippery Rock (57-66). The Fighting Scots now find themselves on a two-game upswing as part of a four-game homestand with Cheyney and Millersville coming up. Edinboro puts four scorers out on the floor averaging double figures including Valerie Majewski (17.7), Aignee' Freeland (13.1), Laurel Lindsay (13.0), and Hope Mancini (10.8). Majewski experienced a highly decorated season in 2013-14. She earned WBCA All-American honors along with being named the PSAC West Athlete of the Year. In addition, she was named to the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region first team, was a first team All-PSAC West choice and was named the PSAC Tournament Most Valuable Player. However, the McKean, Pa., native has only played in three games this season.
