Kutztown, Pa. - The Millersville wrestling team dropped a 31-9 decision at 10th-ranked Kutztown on Friday evening. 

Millersville (3-6, 2-4 PSAC) received a decision from Anthony White at 149 pounds and six points on a forfeit at 157 pounds, but Kutztown (8-4, 3-1 PSAC) scoredtwo major decisions, a tech fall and a pin to pull away. The loss was Millersville's fourth to a nationally-ranked opponent. 

White, wrestling in just his second match as a Marauder, scored a 13-10 decision over Jackson Stabile. White scored a reversal to start the third period and took a sizeable 11-6 lead. Stabile quickly closed the gap with a pair of escapes and a takedown before White escaped with 20 seconds remaining in the match to preserve the three points for Millersville. 

Zac Wawrzyniak-Bush accepted a forfeit at 157 pounds, giving him three victories in his last four dual matches. Aram Moffitt, wrestling at 197 pounds, nearly knocked off the Atlantic Region's No. 2-ranked wrestler. After a scoreless first period, Moffitt escaped to start the second to give him an early advantage. That lead remained until Clark escaped to start the third period. Clark then scored a takedown to build a 3-1 lead over Moffitt. Moffitt escaped and had a chance to take the lead with a takedown but couldn't register one. It is the first time since December that Moffitt has lost back-to-back matches and his season record dropped to 15-12. 

Sam Oberlander, the 2012-13 season starter at 125 pounds, returned to the dual lineup for the first time this season, but was downed by Nick Lamoreux, 5-1. David Charles had won five of his previous seven duals but lost to Mitch Voelker 4-1 at 141 pounds.

Two of Millersville's three duals left on the schedule are at home. The team returns to action on Feb. 5 against East Stroudsburg.
