Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville wrestling team hosted seven other teams for Saturday's Mid-Penn Duals held at the Student Memorial Center. Millersville was eliminated after two rounds of competition, falling in a pair of closely contested matches to American International and Sacred Heart.
Shane Gilmore, wrestling at 184 pounds, highlighted the Marauders' efforts with a pair of victories.
Austin Camacci, wrestling at 125 pounds, scored 12 points for the Marauders.

American International 25, Millersville 23
Millersville suffered a heart-breaking defeat late against American International, dropping its record to 2-3 on the season. The Marauders led by 10 points heading into the final two bouts, and American International could only win with back-to-back pins. Millersville and American International each won five bouts. At 125 pounds,
Austin Camacci scored the first fall of his collegiate career, pinning Connor Liebel at the 2:05 mark.
David Charles (141) boosted his record over .500 at 11-10 with his team-best sixth major decision of the season.
Zac Wawrzyniak-Bush (157) ended a four-match skid with a 5-1 decision over Zac Ziobrio.
Mitchell Ball notched his first major decision of the season by blanking Michael Schultz 8-0 at 174 pounds. 184-pound
Shane Gilmore improved to 3-4 on the season with his first collegiate pin, downing Jonathan Ortiz in 2:03.

Sacred Heat 19, Millersville 18
Millersville's record dropped to 2-4 in a one-point match against Sacred Heart. The Marauders received 12 points immediately with forfeits at 125 and 133 pounds. Sacred Heart, however, went on to win the next five bouts--four by decision.
Shane Gilmore ended the Pioneers' run at 184 pounds and pulled his team to within 16-15 with a 7-2 decision over Jon Scheidegger. The win was Gilmore's second of the day and it improved his record to 4-4 on the season. Moffitt followed suit and pushed the Marauders in front by one point with a 4-2 decision at 197 pounds. Moffitt boosted his team-leading win total to 14 with the triumph. With the outcome of the dual riding on the heavyweight match, Nick Lupi earned a hard-fought 6-2 decision over Ryan Neilsen.
