LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Wrestling Athlete of the Week on December 2, selecting redshirt freshman Gavin Boland for the honor following his major decision victory on November 24.

Boland improved his season win total to six after earning a 12–3 major decision in the 125-pound weight class against Shippensburg. The redshirt freshman, competing in his first PSAC bout after redshirting last season, set an early tempo with a quick takedown and accumulated riding time. He added another takedown to open the second period, extending his lead to 6–0. In the third period, Boland secured an escape and a reversal, closing out the match with a 12–3 decision. Millersville secured its first PSAC win of the season with a 27–9 team victory over Shippensburg. 

The Marauders are scheduled to return to action on December 3, traveling to East Stroudsburg for a 7 p.m. dual.
