Sambrick Jr. Falls in Semifinals of PSAC Individual Championships

Singles Bracket
Bloomsburg, Pa. - Jody Sambrick Jr. was eliminated from the singles bracket on Sunday morning by Travis Beck of Mercyhurst 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).
The junior from Lancaster was rewarded with a spot in the final four of the PSAC Individual Championships after winning both of his matches on Saturday.
On Sunday, Sambrick Jr. was matched up against Beck who defeated the top-seeded Rushi Amin of Kutztown to begin his tournament. In round two, Beck defeated freshman, Daniel Gimenez of Mercyhurst to move on to the semifinals.
Beck was too much to handle for Sambrick Jr. though who bowed out after a 2-1 weekend.
The men's tennis team returns home to take on Harford Community College in Millersville on Sept. 27. That match is set to begin at 2:30 p.m.
