Millersville, Pa. – After a 2012-13 season during which three freshmen at the top of the team's lineup collected seven or more wins apiece, the Marauders will look for more of the same production next season with their new recruiting class, announced Wednesday.
The team will have eight grapplers new to its roster for next season. The eight fresh faces come from three states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. New to join Millersville from Pennsylvania are Austin Camacci, Riley Eidemiller, Aram Moffitt, Mike Pritchard and Keegan Worley.
The two Maryland products who will attempt to win starting jobs for the Marauders as first year wrestlers are William Holder-Moore and Joe Kendrick, while Michael Lenihan is the lone New Jersey wrestler joining the team for the 2013-14 season. Meet all the upcoming freshmen below:
Austin Camacci, 125 – Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin
Following a runner-up finish at the PIAA AAA South Central Regional in the 113-lb. weight class, Cammaci was a PIAA AAA State Qualifier who finished his senior season with a stellar 32-9 record. He was also a member of the Central Dauphin team that earned the distinction of 2013 PIAA AAA State Dual Runner-Up Team. He will compete at the 125-lb. weight class during his first season.
Riley Eidemiller, 133 – Ephrata, Pa. / Ephrata
Eidemiller's highlight of a senior season that saw him finish at 29-9 was a runner-up finish at the Lancaster-Lebanon League Tournament. He concluded his final year and career with a trip to the PIAA AAA South Central Regional and will look to win a top-of-the-order slot in the lineup at 133 lbs. as a freshman.
William Holder-Moore, 174/184 – Bel-Air, Md. / Bel-Air
Holder-Moore can provide the back end of the lineup with winning pedigree, looking at jumping into either the 174 or 184 slots in the lineup. He capped off a 48-1 senior season with a Maryland 3A/4A State Championship at 170 lbs. and his final high school campaign was no fluke, either; he boasted a 114-7 record over four years. Other career highlights include placing sixth as a junior at the Maryland 3A/4A State Championships, a 2011 Maryland Cadet Freestyle State Champion honor and a 2012 Maryland Junior Freestyle State Runner-Up finish.
Joe Kendrick, 157 – Ellicot City, Md. / Mount Hebron
The Mount Hebron High School product was the Maryland 3A/4A State Runner-Up at 152 lbs. during the final year of a career during which he notched more than 100 total victories. Kendrick also placed sixth at the Maryland 3A/4A State Championships as a conclusion to his junior season. Coming to Millersville, he will look to win the 157-lb. roster spot.
Michael Lenihan, 125/133 – Pennsauken Township, N.J. / Bishop Eustice Prep
Lenihan brings winning experience to Millersville at the top of the team's lineup, looking to compete at the top two weight classes and win a spot as a regular either at 125 or 133. He will do so after a senior season where he drew a distinction of a New Jersey State Championship Qualifier at 120 lbs. for Bishop Eustice Prep.
Aram Moffitt, 197 – Glenville, Pa. / South Western
A PIAA AAA State Championship Qualifier at 220 lbs. for South Western, Moffitt will bring a winning attitude to Millersville. He finished fourth at the PIAA AAA South Central Regional, and all of this came after he won the Top Hat Tournament and placed third at the King of the Mountain Tournament, two prestigious tournaments for Pennsylvania high school wrestlers. Moffitt will look to win his starting spot at 197 lbs.
Mike Pritchard, 133 – Bensalem, Pa. / Bensalem
Pritchard is another distinguished career wrestler on this list. He was a three-time PIAA AAA South East Regional Qualifier and took home more than 100 victories during his four-year career at Bensalem. He will bring that longevity of success to Millersville in an attempt to capture a middle-of-the-lineup spot at 133 lbs.
Keegan Worley, 125/133 – Spring Grove, Pa. / Spring Grove
A Spring Grove native, Worley is also a top-of-the-lineup wrestler. He will compete for a spot at the top two weight classes of 125 and 133 lbs. Worley comes from a successful program, as he was a member of a PIAA State Dual Championship Qualifying Team and the YAIAA League Championship Team while at Spring Grove.
