West Chester, Pa. - Millersville junior Amber Rohrer rocketed up the leaderboard with one of the lowest scores of the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational and finished in fourth place. She led the Marauders to a seventh place team finish.

Rohrer posted an 11-over-par 83 Monday, which was the second best round of the tournament and her best of the season. She bettered her previous day's score by 10 strokes to finish at 176 for the tournament. She rallied all the way to within four strokes of the eventual winner. Kutztown's Lauren Smith took medalist honors after posting an 81 in the second round.

As a team, Millersville finished seven shots in front of Le Moyne. Jaimie Wharton placed 26th. Kendal Olear, who bettered her round one score by 18 shots on Monday, placed 28th Cara Geiger finished 35th.

The Millersville women compete in the Ursinus College Invitational on April 16.
