Women's Golf Places Fourth at Kutztown Invitational

Kutztown, Pa. - Led by Amber Rohrer's eighth-place finish, the Millersville women's golf team finish fourth at Saturday's Kutztown Spring Invitational.

The Marauders posted a team score for the first time this season with Rohrer, Jaimie Wharton, Kendal Olear and Cara Geiger in action. Geiger played her first collegiate round Saturday.

Millersville posted a total of 400, finishing behind host Kutztown, West Chester and East Stroudsburg. The the Marauders trailed ESU by just three shots.

Rohrer, coming off of a three-way tie for first with Wharton and Olear at last weekend's Millersville Invitational, shot a 90, which was five shots off the pace. Wharton and Olear posted matching scores of 96.

Millersville travels to Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester Sunday to start the two-day Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational.
