Hilton Head, S.C. - Wednesday in the men's tennis team's fourth match in as many days, the Marauders were shut out by William Jewell, falling to the Cardinals, 9-0.
In singles play, Jody Sambrick Jr. was the only player to take more than one game in both of his sets but was downed by Shane Giannetti, 6-3, 6-3. Sambrick and doubles partner Niko Mucci combined to take the most sets of any Marauder doubles pairing, losing to Giannetti and Bryan Thomas, 8-3.
The Marauders wrapped up their spring break trip with the match against the Cardinals Wednesday. Millersville now has over a week off until its next competition, Mar. 28 at home against Philadelphia. Start time for that match is 3 p.m. at the McComsey Tennis Courts.
