MATCH NOTES
 •         This year's meeting between Millersville and Franklin & Marshall is the sixth annual Battle for the Rupp Cup. F&M has won the last two meetings including last year's dual by a 29-13 score.
•         The Rupp Cup is named in the honor of the late Dr. Ted Rupp, who made a significant impact on both programs. Rupp graduated from F&M in 1935 and coached wrestling from 1936-43. After returning from service in World War II, Rupp was hired to teach at Millersville. In 1947, he started the wrestling program and posted a 71-18-2 record in 11 years as the head coach.
•         While the Diplomats have won two consecutive Rupp Cup meetings, Millersville hods a 16-5 all-time lead in the series, which dates to 1994. Millersville won seven in a row before 2011.
•         The Diplomats have five wrestlers in the lineup tonight that competed in last year's Battle for the Rupp Cup. Robert Ruiz, Richard Durso, Andrew Murano and Eric Norgard all scored wins in 2012. For the Marauders, only Brad Ladd has a previous Rupp Cup victory.
•         Millersville is coming off of an 18-15 win over Lycoming. 125-pound Sam Oberlander has won two in a row and five of his last seven matches. Ladd, on the verge of leading the team in wins for the second year in a row, has won six of his last seven bouts.
•         F&M started the season 6-4 but has since lost five consecutive duals, and it has not scored more than 10 points in the last four. Still, Robert Ruiz, Richard Durso and Andrew Murano all boast more than 20 wins. Durso needs only five more wins to tie F&M's single-season record.
•          Ladd and fellow senior Aaron Trimpey will be recognized prior to Friday's dual. Ladd boasts a 45-41 career record with 22 falls in his three-year career. Trimpey, a two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, posted a career-best five victories with two pins this season while wrestling at 149 pounds.
