Box Score Greensburg, Pa. - Alexis Martin turned in the performance of her career with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Millersville past Seton Hill 71-54 on Wednesday night.
The Marauders (5-4) outrebounded the Griffins (6-4) to the tune of 44-28 including 30-19 on the defensive glass and outscored Seton Hill 38-26 in the paint. Millersville shot 47.1 percent (24-of-51) from the floor to just 36.4 percent (20-of-55) from the Griffins.
Martin was 9-of-11 from the field including a perfect 5-for-5 in the second half . She made three of her five attempts at the free throw line. It was the first double-figure rebound performance for Martin as well. 
Shelby Reimer scored 16 points to go with four rebounds and one steal. Reimer was 3-for-7 from behind the arc and 5-of-6 from the charity stripe. 
Celeste Robinson dropped 12 points after scoring only four in her last two games combined and had five rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Seton Hill opened the second half on a 12-4 run and cut the deficit to one, 39-38, with just under six minutes into the second period. Robinson halted the comeback with a layup at the 13:07 mark and that helped Millersville to double Seton Hill's output 32-16 over the final 13-plus minutes. Martin scored 11 of her 21 points in that stretch while Reimer added seven to support the run.
The Marauders opened the game on a 12-3 run to take the momentum and led by as many as 13 in the first half before heading into the locker room with a 35-26 lead.
Millersville will look to end 2013 with a winning streak against California (Pa.) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
