Box Score Indiana, Pa. - Ian Sadon rumbled for 124 yards against No. 7-ranked Indiana's (Pa.) vaunted defense, but Millersville couldn't keep pace in a 62-3 loss.
IUP (5-0) entered the game as the No. 1 defense in Division II, but Sadon tallied the most yards rushing by any player this season versus the Crimson Hawks, and Millersville's (0-5) 3.8 yards per carry average was also the top number.
Sadon's 124 yards was a season-high, and his 40-yard jaunt on Millersville's second drive set up the Marauders' only score of the game.
Evan Stahl banged home his second field goal in as many weeks. This time, it was a career-long 36-yarder.
IUP, however, answered Millersville's scoring drive with a 58-yard Terrill Barnes kickoff return. That set up the second touchdown in as many drives for the Crimson Hawks.
Mike Box, who completed an efficient 10-of-12 passes for three touchdowns, led his team to 21 first quarter points and a 35-3 halftime lead. His back-up, Steve Franco, was just as sharp, completing 6-of-6 for 82 yards and a score.
Millersville did manage to record its first interception of the season.
Rasheed Johnson picked off Box and recorded a 17-yard return.
The Marauders' quarterbacks had a rough day, however, against the IUP defense.
Connor Casey completed just 2-of-9 passes and threw an interception.
Curtis Frye was 4-of-9 for 49 yards and an interception.
Millersville's schedule gets no easier next week as it heads to Bloomsburg for a 3:37 p.m. start time. The Huskies are 5-0 and ranked No. 8 in Division II.
