Marauder Women Continue Strong Play

West Chester, Pa. - Scoring conditions weren't ideal, but Amber Rohrer and Rachel Yurchak of the Millersville women's golf team both turned in solid performances at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational, finishing in the top-half of the field.
For the third time in just over a week, Rohrer cracked the top-10. On a day in which only two players broke 90, Rohrer shot a 91, which was the third-lowest round of the day. Her two-day total was 45-over, which landed her in a tie for eighth.
Yurchak, a freshman, opened with a 96 and faltered slightly in the second round but still managed to come away with a 14th-place finish. It was her third straight top-15 finish.
Mindy Glatfelter from Kutztown led four Kutztown golfers in the top five. Kutztown took the team crown.
Millersville has a quick turnaround, playing in the Gettysburg Invitational on April 5.
