Abbottstown, Pa. - Sophomore Amber Rohrer tied for seventh, and freshman Rachel Yurchak tied for 16th in a field of 37 women's golfers in the one-day Gettysburg Invitational Thursday.
Rohrer, who now has four consecutive top-10 finishes and seven in her last eight tournaments, shot a 20-over-par 92 on the par 72 Hanover Country Club course. Rohrer finished in a three-way tie for seventh with Susquehanna's Lindsey Kass and Lauren Sobotka of Gettysburg. Roher was also just nine shots off the pace set by McDaneil's Morgan Koopman.
Yurchak continued her spring turnaround by placing in a three-way tie at 27-over-par. She's placed in the top 20 of all four spring events.
The Marauder women's team finishes its 2011-12 season at the Alvernia Invitational on April 23.
