Rohrer Gets Another Top 10 Finish

Kutztown, Pa. - In the fall of 2011, Amber Rohrer and the Millersville women's golfers competed at the Kutztown Fall Invitational. Rohrer placed ninth. On Saturday, Rohrer and Rachel Yurchak took to the same course for the Kutztown Spring Invitational, and Rohrer led the way with a sixth-place finish.
Rohrer shot rounds of 86 and 82 on the par 72 Berkleigh Country Club course in the fall. She evenly split those two rounds Saturday, firing a 12-over-par 84 and finishing nine shots back of the winner, Minday Glatfelter of Kutztown.
It was Rohrer's fifth top-10 in six events this season.
Yurchak went out in 48 but closed with a strong 42 to shoot 18-over-par and place 15th.
Millersville faces a quick turnaround as it heads to West Chester Monday morning for the start of Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell College Golf Tournament.
