Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville women's soccer team played to a deadlock for the second straight game. tying Lock Haven 0-0 Tuesday evening. The Marauders have now played to a draw in four of their past six contests.

Kristin Lepley led the offensive attack with six shots for Millersville, (3-5-4, 1-5-3 PSAC) and goalkeeper Olivia Webber made crucial saves in an eight save performance against the Bald Eagles.

Lock Haven (5-3-4, 2-3-4 PSAC) has now tied its opponents in four consecutive games. Jaime Hunter matched Lepley with six total shots, while Bald Eagle goalkeeper Dana Wozniak recorded seven saves in the match.

The teams could not have been much more even. Each team totaled 17 shots, the Marauders gathered one more save and one more corner, and three more fouls.

Lock Haven's best chance to score came with five minutes to play in regulation. Hunter found herself in a one-on-one situation with Webber from the left side of the box. Hunter took a few touches and fired a shot towards the far right post. Webber dove to her left and saved the point blank attempt to keep the game knotted at zero.

Millersville had several scoring opportunities in the first overtime period but could not force any of their shots into the back of the net.

If the Marauders play to one more tie this season they will tie a program record, set by the 2005 squad, with five ties in a year.

Millersville travels to Slippery Rock this Saturday, Oct. 13 to take on the Rock in their next game. Game time is slated for 3:30 p.m.
