Lock Haven got the ball moving early, marching down the field and putting a shot on goal that was saved by junior Emma Moss. The Bald Eagles earned two corner kicks but were unable to capitalize.
Millersville began to find its rhythm 19 minutes in when Isabel Coy took the first shot for the Marauders, which was saved. The team continued to press forward as Cheyenne Forte added another shot that was also saved.
Millersville gained the advantage in the 31st minute and never looked back, as Lia Francis found Ashlyn Calabria on a long-ball breakaway, where she scored her second goal of the season.

The second half began with back-and-forth play between both squads as each took shots on goal. Lock Haven finally broke through in the 68th minute, capitalizing on a corner kick to cut the lead to one.
Millersville quickly responded, as leading goal scorer Strohecker drove toward the net and attempted a shot that was saved by the keeper. The rebound fell to Lia Francis, who sent it across the line before the goalkeeper could recover, extending the lead to 3-1.

- Calabria, Strohecker, and Francis all scored one goal
- Moss recorded her second win of the season
- Millersville outshot Lock Haven 13-12
- The girls found their rhythm midway through the first half, with Ashlyn scoring first and Aubrey adding another just two minutes before halftime. How would you assess the team's performance in that half overall? "We started out well then faded a bit but were able to score two great goals. A great finish by Ashlyn on the breakaway and individuals brilliance from Aubrey. Defensively we were not organized as I had hoped. If we had been a bit better defensively I think we would have been able to create a few more opportunities."
- What would you have liked to see done differently on the corner kick to prevent Lock Haven's goal? "We need to win the ball and clear the area. But the corner could have been prevented completely if we win the long ball and don't get caught by a ball in behind."
