
Wharton Leads Women's Golf at PSAC Championship

Hershey, Pa. - Freshman Jaimie Wharton completed her first PSAC Women's Golf Championship Saturday as Millersville's top finisher, placing 26th.
Junior Amber Rohrer finished in a tie for 29th, and freshman Kendal Olear placed 37th. Playing on the par 71 Hershey Country Club East Course, Wharton followed her first round 90 with a 91. Rohrer improved her score by two shots in the second round, finishing with a 93.
Maria Lopez of California (Pa.) took medalist honors at 6-over-par for the tournament. California (Pa.) also won the team crown.
The conference championship marked the completion of the fall schedule for the Marauders.
