Another Top 10 For Rohrer at Clarion Invitational

Clarion, Pa. - The Millersville women's golf team placed ninth at the weekend's Clarion Fall Invitational, but sophomore Amber Rohrer posted her second top 10 in as many events this season.
Rohrer followed her victory at the Pocono Invitational with a sixth-place finish at Clarion. On the par 72 course, she shot rounds of 80 and 82 to finish with a 162 total--seven strokes off the winner's pace.
The field included 55 golfers and nine teams. Freshman Rachel Yurchak tied for 35th and classmate Allison Wray placed in a tie for 49th. Katie Smith took 52nd.
Kutztown took home the overall team crown on the strength of Chelsea Corbo's medalist performance.
The Millersville women return to the course on Friday, Oct. 7 when it hosts the Millersville Invitational at Crossgates Golf Club.
