Kutztown, Pa. - Amber Rohrer posted her third top-10 of the season and three other women's golfers competed at this weekend's Kutztown Invitational.
On the par 73 Berkleigh Golf Course, Rohrer shot an opening round 86 and charged back with an 82 in the second round to finish at 22-over-par for the tournament.
She placed ninth in the field of 36. She was 13 shots off the pace set by Kutztown's Mindy Glatfelter. Rohrer has now placed first, sixth and ninth in her three fall tournaments.
Millersville's No. 2 finisher was freshman Rachel Yurchak. Yarchak's second round total was eight shots better than her first and she finished 27th. Freshman Katie Smith placed 34th. Allison Wray opened the tournament in 27th place but did not play the second round.
Millersville plays in the PSAC Championship at Hershey Links in Hummelstown, Pa., on Oct. 15-16.
