Marauders Storm to Fifth Straight Win

West Liberty, W.Va. - Millersville completed its swing through West Virginia Saturday and registered a key 5-2 victory over West Liberty.
Millersville boosted its record to 12-5 overall and won its fifth straight match. The weekend trip South was important for the Marauders' NCAA hopes as it topped the Atlantic Region's No. 8 team Charleston on Friday and then topped No. 7 West Liberty on Saturday.
Drew Slocum and Preetham Moras won at No. 1 doubles, and Donald Swantko and Tyler Reppert won a tightly contested 9-8 match at No. 2 doubles.
Moras, Slocum and Henry Ben each registered straight-set victories in singles to give Millersville the five points needed to clinch the match.
It was the final regular season match of the year, and the Marauders now turn their attentions toward the PSAC Team Championships on April 21.
