Hilton Head, S.C. - The Millersville men's tennis team took two of three doubles matches, but Brevard controlled singles action and escaped win a 6-3 victory Tuesday afternoon.
Millersville (4-2) suffered its second-straight defeat, and Brevard evened its record at 4-4.
The Marauders received a doubles win from No. 1 team Drew Slocum and Preetham Moras. The duo defeated Beau Wills and Scott McCormick, 8-5. The Marauders' No. 2 team of Donald Swantko and Tyler Reppert also notched an 8-5 win.
Swankto earned Millersville's only singles point. He and Cole Altizer battled for three sets until Swantko came out on top, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6. Slocum was edged a three-set match at No. 2 doubles.
Millersville continues its Hilton Head trip Wednesday against Ashford.
