Millersville, Pa. – Fourth-year head coach Jon Shehan has announced the dates for this year's Millersville Baseball Summer Camp. The four-day camp will run from July 18 to 21 and is offered to players who are entering second to eighth grade in the fall.
The 2008 PSAC East Coach of the Year will be joined by Millersville assistant coaches, Chris Shehan, Bob Preli and Miles Gallagher. Also part of the staff is Manheim Township coach Bill Sassaman, Lampeter-Strasburg coach Todd Garber and former college standouts Craig Pfautz and Andy Dochterman.
The camp will begin each day with a brief message from coach Jon Shehan followed by a dynamic warm up to get the players ready for the day. A throwing program will be instilled to develop the proper mechanics to promote arm health. The bulk of the day will be a two-hour skill instruction that will rotate the players through a defensive and offensive session, instructional videos, baserunning and pitching drills. Each day will end with instructional games concluding with a guest speaker. Lunch will also be provided by the University.
Those interested in signing up for the camp should fill out the registration or print, fill out and mail the camp brochure. For questions, call (717) 871-5736.
