ABOUT THE GAME
· For the second time in as many years, the No. 2 seeded Millersville women's basketball team will host conference rival and No. 3 seed West Chester for the quarterfinal round of the PSAC Tournament. The Marauders look to avenge the loss that knocked off the 2009-10 club. Last season the Golden Rams earned the biggest upset of the tournament when they knocked off top-seeded Millersville in double overtime, 83-77 on MU's home court. The game marked the first time West Chester notched a postseason over the Marauders inside Pucillo Gymnasium in five tries.
· Millersville is making its 15th-straight trip to the PSAC Tournament. It is also the 18th tournament appearance for head coach Mary Fleig in her 21 years at the helm. MU has won three PSAC crowns in 24 trips and holds a record of 3-3 when playing in the championship game. The last time Millersville won the title was the 2004-05 season on its home floor.
· With the regular season complete, Millersville finished at the top of multiple conference statistic columns. The Marauders continue to dominate the rebounding categories, grabbing 10.2 more boards than their opponents and pulling down 46.3 rebounds per game. MU holds the top spot with 19.4 offensive rebounds per game and leads the blocked shots category with 6.2 per game.
· Both Eastern Division quarterfinal contests are rematches from one year ago. East regular season champion Bloomsburg hosts No. 4 seed Kutztown at Nelson Fieldhouse Tuesday. Last year the second seeded Golden Bears knocked off Bloomsburg at home to advance to the semifinals.
· The Golden Rams and Marauders split their two regular-season meetings this winter with each winning on its own home floor. Millersville defeated West Chester, 81-59, on Jan. 22 for the Golden Rams' largest margin of defeat this season by 22 points. On Feb. 19, the Rams repaid the visiting Marauders with a 74-68 overtime victory at Hollinger Field House. If Millersville advances, it will face the winner of the Mercyhurst/Edinboro game on Friday, March 4.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
· The Golden Rams (20-6, 11-3 PSAC East) are making their 20th trip to the conference tournament and fifth-straight appearance. The Rams have qualified for the PSAC Tournament in 15 of the last 16 seasons. West Chester has reached the conference semifinals in each of the past three seasons and is 2-5 against Millersville (21-5, 11-3) in PSAC Tournament play.
· The Rams, who entered last year's postseason as the No. 4 seed, upset the top-seeded Marauders, 83-77, in double overtime at Pucillo Gym in the quarterfinals. It marked West Chester's first postseason win over Millersville on its home court in five tries.
· West Chester is 12-19 all-time in the PSAC Tournament. The Golden Rams have never won the conference title. The last time that they played for the crown was in 2003 when they dropped a 58-54 decision to California (Pa.) at Hollinger Field House.
