THE STARTING FIVE
(1) Millersville is on a 10-day stretch over the holiday season with its last contest back on Dec. 19 on the road at Wilmington (Del.). The Marauders cruised past the Wildcats by a score of 72-52 and never trailed in the game. Millerville bench, after being outscored 31-9 in its worse loss since 2006 at No. 9 Edinboro, provided 25 points from six different players.

(2) Head Coach Mary Fleig collected her 399th win as Millersville's longest tenured coach. Fleig can become the first Millersville coach, in all sports, to reach the 400 win mark with a win this weekend against University of the Sciences or Molloy. Fleig, who began her coaching career at Franklin & Marshall, went over the 500 win mark last season and currently has 521 combined wins to rank her 43rd among active coaches in all Divisions

(3) The Marauders are playing in their 12th Carol Eckman Classic hosted by West Chester University. The Classic, in its 26th year, remember's the late West Chester head coach Carol Eckman, who passed away from Cancer in 1985. Eckman helped organize the first women's college basketball postseason tournament in 1969, which her Golden Rams went on to win. Millersville's Fleig played for Coach Eckman at Lock Haven from 1976-79.

(4) Millersville holds a combined 18-4 record at the Carol Eckman Classic and is currently on a 12-game winning streak. The Marauders last loss at the Classic was in 2004 against Fairmont State by a score of 65-56. Millersville has the most appearances by any  visiting school and won the crown twice in 1997 and 1998.

(5) This weekends opponents hold a combined 1-7 record all-time against Millersville. The Marauder's only loss game against U. of the Sciences a season ago at Pucillo Gymnasium by a score of 68-62. Before that game Millersville won its first five against the Devils. The Marauders have never lost to Molloy with a 2-0 lifetime record. Millersville has never play Molloy on the road or on a neutral court before. It will be Molloy's fourth appearance at the Carol Eckman Classic, U.of the Science's first.

ABOUT U. OF THE SCIENCES
• University of the Sciences is currently on a three-game winning streak. The Devils are coming off a dominating win against PSAC Eastern foe East Stroudsburg. The Devils travels to East Stroudsburg and collected a convincing 59-33 win.
• Freshman Brianne Traub earned her second-straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week honors last week after collecting her fourth and fifth 20-plus point performance of the season. Traub is averagaing 22.0 points per game.
• The Devils have beaten Kutztown and ESU on the road, while falling to Bloomsburg 83-61. U. of the Sciences defeated Philadelphia, 67-62, in overtime.

ABOUT MOLLOY
• Molloy, like U. of the Sciences, is on a three-game winning streak with its last game played on Dec. 17 at Queens (N.Y.).  The Lions are currently 2-0 in the East Coast Conference (ECC). Molloy is 0-1 on neutral courts this season.
• Only two players average in double-figures with Amanda Bartlett averaging 18.4. Bartlett leads the team in made three-point shots (20) and free throw/percentage (62, .861).
• Molloy is making its fourth appearance in the Carol Eckman Classic. The Lions previous competed in the classic in 1987, 1989 and 2001. The Lions hold a 1-5 all-time record at the Classic.
