
Women XC Places 10th at PSAC Championship

Lock Haven, Pa. - Elicia Anderson placed 18th to receive All-PSAC honors for the second year in a row, and the Millersville women's cross country team placed 10th at Saturday's PSAC Championship.
Anderson, last year's runner-up, ran the Lock Haven 6K course in 22:08.2. Shippensburg's Neely Spence won her fourth consecutive individual title with a time of 20:16.5. Shippensburg won the team crown as well.
Anderson was the lone Marauder to place inside the top 50. Brittney Martin placed 50th in the team scoring and 51st overall with a time of 22:54.2. Rebekah Moore crossed the line in 23:03.3, which placed her 57th in the 132-runner field.
Sarah Mulvey was the team's No. 4 runner, placing 61st with a time of 23:10.7. Michelle Blum placed 69th, and Megan Meyer placed 85th.
Millersville competes at the NCAA Atlantic Regional on Nov. 5.
