
See's Seventh-Place Finish Leads Men's Golf at Goldey-Beacom

Rising Sun, Md. - The Millersville men's golf spent the weekend trying to win a PSAC Championship. With no time for rest, the Marauders traveled to Rising Sun, Md. to compete in the Goldey-Beacom Invitational. Led by Timothy See's seventh-place finish, the Marauders took fourth as a team.
See carried the momentum he picked up from a 76 in the final round of the PSAC Championship. On Monday, he shot a 7-over-par 78 and went even lower Tuesday when he fired a 3-over-par 74. His 10-over-par was seven shots off the lead and was his lowest total of the season.
Two shots back of See was senior Shane Henry. Henry turned in rounds of 76 and 78. Jeff Stokes, who had not competed since the opening Clarion Invitational in September, tied for 14th with a 13-over-par score.
Conor Gilbert tied for 26th and Brian Cooper tied for 32nd. The team totaled a 65-over-par after rounds of 318 and 315. Millersville tied with Wesley College and trailed West Chester and Goldey-Beacom. Adelphi won the team title at 28-over-par.
The Marauders close the fall schedule on Oct. 22-23.
