
Millersville Men's Golf Makes Final Round Move to Finish Sixth at PSAC Championship

Hummelstown, Pa. - The Millersville men's golf team rallied from a disappointing opening round with an 18-shot improvement in the final round of this weekend's PSAC Championship. The Marauders finished sixth in the seven-team field.
A first round 333 at the par-72 Hershey Links put the Marauders in last place, but a 315 in the second round moved them in front of Mercyhurst and just four shots behind Gannon.
Senior Shane Henry was the team's top finisher. He shot back-to-back rounds of 78 to finish 12-over-par and in a tie for 11th. Tim See opened with an 86 but posted a 76 on day two--team's lowest round of the tournament. He placed in a tie for 21st.
Conor Gilbert improved upon his first round by four shots to finish with 20-over-par and in a tie for 25th. Brian Cooper finished two shots back an in 29th.
Indiana (Pa.) won the team title with four players in the top eight. IUP's Brad Boyle fired a 4-under-par final round--tournament's only sub-70 round--to edge Clarion's Ross Pringle by three shots.
Millersville travels to the Goldey-Beacom Invitational on Monday morning.
