Indiana, Pa. – The Millersville field hockey team had its record evened to 1-1 after falling to No. 3 UMass Lowell 1-0 on Monday at Miller Stadium in Indiana (Pa.). The River Hawks improved to 3-0 on the year after securing the non-conference win.

Sara Dickinson to put the River Hawks up one. Millersville failed to mount a charge in the second, managing just four shots to Lowell's 13.
Dickinson's play kept the Marauders close, though. She recorded 15 saves, 10 of which came in the second half.

The Marauders were out-shot by the nationally-ranked River Hawks by a 27-7 margin. The River Hawks took seven corners to Millersville's six.
Melanie Hopkins tallied four saves for UMass Lowell and registered her third shutout in as many days. Sammy Macy registered 11 shots on goal, and Katie Enaire totaled nine.
Millersville continues its road stretch with two games in Erie, Pa., next weekend. The Marauders face Mercyhurst on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m., and finish with Bellarmine on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
