Volleyball Sweeps Lincoln in Non-Conference Match

Lincoln University, Pa. - The Millersville women's volleyball team handed Lincoln (Pa.) a 3-0 defeat Wednesday evening in the second-ever meeting between the two clubs. The Marauders (7-9) swept the match by scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-17.

Alyssa Ott played an impressive match, as she led Millersville with eight kills and a season-high .889 attach percentage. Jordyn Malone knocked down a season-high eight kills, and Devin Fortney chipped in five.

On the defensive end, Sue Caramanico collected a match-high seven digs and Kelsey Gearhart registered five.

Millersville continues its road stretch at Kutztown on Friday, Oct. 1 for a 7 p.m., conference match-up with the Golden Bears. The Marauders then travel to Lakewood, N.J., on Saturday, Oct. 2 where they will face Georgian Court and Felician.
