THE STARTING FIVE
· The Marauders opened their season with a 2-0 mark for the fifth consecutive year after notching two home wins last weekend. Millersville glided to an easy 72-58 win over Molloy Friday night before battling with Glenville State Saturday. Senior Domonique Stroman hit her second of two free throws with .04 seconds showing on the clock to avoid overtime and lift the Marauders to an 80-79 victory. Millersville and the Pioneers stood with a knotted score at 79-79 with 15 seconds remaining when Glenville State took a one-basket lead. Stroman collected a rebound off of a missed Mashira Newman shot and was fouled when going up for a lay-up.

· The front-court duo of Aurielle Mosley and Gabrielle Styles combined for two double-double performances against the Lions on Friday evening. Mosley registered a career-high 22 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, while Styles knocked down 11 points and grabbed 10 boards.

· Mashira Newman turned in two stellar performances last weekend to open her sophomore season with the Marauders. On Friday Newman recorded 12 points, six rebounds and a snatched a game-high seven steals. She continued to dominate on Saturday as she led her team with a double-double consisting of a game-high 20 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. She also nabbed five steals in the victory.

· Not only are the Marauders producing a powerful offense, but their defense has made an immediate impact on their opponents as well. In its first two games of the season Millersville has combined for 30 steals and caused 59 turnovers.

· Millersville looks to extend its unblemished record to 3-0 for the third-straight season. The last time the Marauders fell to Holy Family was just one year ago by a 54-35 margin, when the Tigers handed Millersville its first loss of the 2009-10 season and snapped a seven-game win streak. Holy Family looks to repeat its performance from last year as the Tigers are also undefeated entering tonight's contest.

ABOUT HOLY FAMILY

A club that advanced all the way to the NCAA Division II East Region Final last season, Holy Family returns seven players from last year's squad. The Tigers are also favored to win the CACC South Division. The squad opened the 2010-11 season with three-straight wins after earning a com-from-behind victory over American International on Saturday.
