Millersville, Pa.- The Millersville field hockey team defeated C.W. Post 4-0 in its home opener Saturday at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium, improving its record to 3-2 and marking its best start since 1998.

Kristie Testa to advance Millersville 2-0.
It didn't take long for the Marauders to score again as junior
Emily Woodland found Ashley Webber off a corner, taking the Marauders into halftime leading by three.
Pioneer goalkeeper Cortney Colern tallied eight saves on the day, but Millersville's offense continued to work. They recorded 23 shots throughout the game and out-cornered the Pioneers (0-3, 0-3 PSAC East) 19-5, two of which led to goals.

With less than seven minutes left to play Testa scored, giving Woodland her second assist of the game.
The Marauders return to action tomorrow for their third conference match-up in a row, as they host Mansfield at 1 p.m.
