Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Millersville wrestling team entered the final session of Saturday's East Regional Duals with two wins on the day and needed to defeat Campbell to clinch the title. However, a Millersville forfeit at heavyweight gave Campbell a 21-19 win over the Marauders.

Millersville picked up victories over Liberty--the eventual East Regional Duals champ--and Gardner-Webb both by a 25-21 score. The event also took into consideration previous dual records against East Region programs, giving Millersville a 4-2 record while Liberty and Campbell finished at 5-1.

Overall, Millersville boosted its record to 8-6.

Shane Smith posted a perfect 3-0 record on the afternoon, scoring two falls and a decision. Jeremy Brooks went 2-1 with two pins as well. Also earning two wins for the Marauders were Sean Reed, Raymond Bennett, Desmond Moore and #J.J. Lester#.
