Kutztown, Pa. - Kutztown took seven of the 10 bouts to hand the Millersville wrestling team a 28-9 dual meet loss Wednesday evening in Keystone Hall.

The Marauders, now 6-5 on the season, have dropped four of their last five duals. Kutztown improved to 8-5-1 overall with the win.

John Andel at 125 pounds, Jeremy Brooks at 165 and Shane Smith at 174 scored victories for the Marauders. Andel topped Clayton Youtz 6-2 to push his season record above .500 at 12-11. Brooks improved to 23-7 and 8-2 in duals with a 5-2 decision over David Zeek.

Smith, the team-leader in victories, needed an extra session to top Sonny Flood. Smith boosted his mark to 26-10 overall and an impressive 10-1 in duals.

The Marauders face a series of opponents Saturday at the East Regional Duals. Opponents are scheduled to include Liberty, Gardner-Webb and Campbell. Duquesne will serve as the host for the 13-team event. Action from North Hills High School begins Saturday at 9 a.m.
