Millersville (6-7, 2-4 PSAC East) had its chances late, though. The first five shots of the second half came off Millersville's sticks, and the Marauders went on to tally nine shots in the second period including six on goal. Ordnung stopped each of them and even turned away
Krista Bupp's penalty stroke four minutes into the second half.
Millersville's final chance for a game-tying goal came with 28 seconds left when it earned a penalty corner. A clear shot did not materialize, sealing the win for the Warriors.
Kristie Testa and freshman
Ashley Weber put two shots on goal for the Marauders.
Sara Dickinson made three saves, but for the sixth time this season, she was tagged with the loss despite not allowing more than three goals.
Both of East Stroudsburg's wins over Millersville this season came by a 1-0 score, and each of the last three meetings have been decided by the same count. Millersville has scored just one goal in the last four games against the Warriors.
Millersville will look to bounce back on Saturday when they travel to Slippery Rock for PSAC crossover action.
