
Field Hockey to Host "SHUTOUT Breast Cancer!" Game

Millersville, Pa. - On Tuesday Oct. 13, the Millersville field hockey team will host the “SHUTOUT Breast Cancer!” game, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The field hockey squad intends to team up with the community and fans to raise awareness of the disease. All players will be wearing pink wristbands, as well as other pink accessories in honor of the event, and ask that all fans attending the game wear pink as well.
The Millersville University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be collecting donations; however the main goal is to raise awareness for the cause by all fans wearing pink. All proceeds will benefit research.
The Marauders face Shippensburg at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium at 4 p.m.
