Shippensburg, Pa. - The Millersville wrestlers took four of the first six bouts, but a pair of forfeits were too much to overcome as Shippensburg downed the visiting Marauders 27-12 Wednesday evening at Heiges Field House.

Shippensburg (5-0-1), the No. 16-ranked team in Division II, remained unbeaten with the win. It was just the second dual loss of the season for the Marauders as they fall to 5-2.

John Andel got things started at 125 pounds with a 5-3 decision over Justin Morris. Sean Reed repeated the effort at 133 pounds with a 9-4 decision over Andrew Jones. #J.J. Lester#, recently moved up to 157 pounds, scored an 8-2 decision as well.

165 pounder Jeremy Brooks boosted his overall record to 21-5 and stayed unbeaten in duals with an 8-2 decision over Jake Wilson. At 174 pounds, Shane Smith suffered his first dual loss of the year, falling 3-1 to Chris Barrick.

The Marauders travel to Clarion Saturday for a tri-meet that includes Duquesne.
