Carpenter-Trout Strength Center
Named in the honor of former Millersville director of athletics Dr. Gene Carpenter and Marge Trout, the Carpenter-Trout Strength Center is the training facility for Millersville's 19 intercollegiate athletic teams. Carpenter-Trout was first built in 2006 and underwent a major renovation in 2019. Working with industry leader Abacus, a new state-of-the-art, exercise-specific flooring was installed and Hammer Strength racks and benches were installed, maximizing the work space for Millersville's student-athletes. The 5,000 square foot facility can accommodate multiple teams working out at the same time.
